💡 Tips for saving money in Steam sales
❤️ Add games to your wishlist first
Add the games you want to your Steam wishlist and Steam will email you when they go on sale. You can also set a price alert on GAME圈 to get notified when the price drops below your target.
🏆 Compare with the historical low
A sale discount isn't always the lowest price. Check a game's historical low page to see past sale prices and decide whether this deal is worth it.
↩️ Remember the refund rules
You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase with less than 2 hours of playtime. If a game you bought just before the sale qualifies, you can refund it and buy it again at the sale price.
❓ FAQ
When is the next Steam sale?
The next Steam seasonal sale is Steam Winter Sale 2026, running Fri, Dec 18, 2026, 02:00 – Tue, Jan 5, 2027, 02:00 Taiwan time.
When is the Steam Summer Sale?
Steam Summer Sale 2027 runs Fri, Jun 25, 2027, 01:00 – Fri, Jul 9, 2027, 01:00 Taiwan time (14 days).
When is the Steam Winter Sale?
Steam Winter Sale 2026 runs Fri, Dec 18, 2026, 02:00 – Tue, Jan 5, 2027, 02:00 Taiwan time (18 days).
What time do Steam sales start?
Steam seasonal sales and Next Fest usually start and end at 10 AM US Pacific time, which is 1 AM the next day in Taiwan (US daylight saving time, roughly March to November) or 2 AM (standard time, roughly November to March).
Is the price the same on the first and last day of a Steam sale?
Usually, yes. Steam seasonal sales no longer have daily flash deals, so most games keep the same discount for the whole sale and there's no need to rush on day one. Discounts are set by each publisher, though, so check the store page.
Can I refund a game I bought just before a Steam sale and buy it again?
Steam lets you request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you've played for less than 2 hours. If a game you bought just before the sale meets these conditions, you can refund it and buy it again at the sale price.
※ Dates follow the schedule Valve publishes on Steamworks. Dates marked "Estimated" are based on the same week in previous years and will be updated once Valve announces them.
