PS Plus Monthly Games

PS Plus monthly games FAQ

When are the PS Plus monthly games announced?

PS Plus monthly games (Essential) are usually announced on the last Wednesday of the previous month, and Extra / Premium Game Catalog additions are usually announced mid-month. Official PlayStation announcements take precedence; this page is updated after each announcement.

When can I claim the PS Plus monthly games for 10/2026?

PS Plus monthly games usually become available on the first Tuesday of each month and can be claimed until the first Tuesday of the following month. Check the PlayStation Store for exact times.

How do I claim PS Plus monthly games?

You need an active PS Plus membership (Essential, Extra or Premium). Find the game in the PlayStation Store on PS5 / PS4 or on the web and select "Add to Library" to claim it; you do not need to download it right away. You cannot play it after your membership expires, but you can continue once you subscribe again.

What are PS Plus Extra and Premium?

PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium are the higher tiers: besides the monthly games, they let you play a large Game Catalog, and Premium also includes the Classics Catalog, game trials and cloud streaming. Catalog games do not need to be claimed and can be downloaded while your membership is active, but games may leave the catalog later.
