How to ask a question
Choose the "Question" type, pick the right game and describe your situation clearly to get good answers faster.
Steps to ask a question
- Click "Post" and choose a game Picking the right game puts your question in the "Q&A" tab of that game's hub, where players who know the game will see it.
- Choose "❓ Question" as the post type The editor will prompt you to describe your situation clearly.
- Write a specific title The more specific, the easier it is to get an answer. For example, "PS5 version: I keep getting one-shot by the Chapter 3 boss. What build should I use?" is far better than just "Help!"
- Describe your situation Include your platform and version, how far you've gotten, what you've already tried and any error messages you see. Screenshots help even more.
- Add tags and publish Tags like "Beginner" or "Build" make it easier for others to find.
Good questions vs. bad questions
| 👍 Likely to get answers | 👎 Harder to answer |
|---|---|
| "How do I transfer my Switch save data to Switch 2?" | "Save problem" |
| Lists what you've already tried and the error message | Only says "It won't run, what do I do?" |
Wraps story details in ||spoiler|| | Spoils the story in the title |
