Wiki collaborative editing

Every game has a guide wiki. Any member can create pages and add content, and every change is recorded.

A guide post is one person's take, while the Wiki is a knowledge base everyone maintains together, such as weapon overviews, beginner's guides, and boss guides. Open the "Wiki" tab on the game hub to see it.

Create a new page

  1. Go to the game's wikiOpen the "Wiki" tab on the game hub and click "New page". If there are no pages yet, you'll see "Write the first page!".
  2. Enter a page titleFor example, "Weapon overview" or "Beginner's guide". The URL slug is optional and is generated from the title automatically.
  3. Choose a parent page (optional)This gives pages a hierarchy, e.g. "Greatswords" under "Weapon overview".
  4. Write the contentSupports the same Markdown syntax as posts. Splitting sections with # headings generates a table of contents automatically.
  5. Add an edit summary and submitLet everyone know what you changed, e.g. "Added weapon stats for v1.2".

Edit an existing page

  1. Open the wiki pageIf you spot an error or want to add something, click "Edit" or "Edit this page directly" at the bottom of the page.
  2. Make your changes and submitIf someone else updated the page while you were editing, you'll be warned. Copy your content first, reload the page, and edit again.
  3. View the edit historyClick "History" to see every version, who edited it, and the edit summary.
Locking and hidingModerators can "lock" (only moderators can edit) or "hide" controversial or frequently vandalized pages. Suspended accounts can't edit the wiki.
Respect copyrightBy submitting content, you agree to license it under the Terms of Service. Please write in your own words and don't copy entire pages from other sites.
