Gothic 1 Remake is an action role-playing game set in a third-person perspective within a fantasy open world. The player controls a nameless prisoner sent into the Valley of Mines, a penal colony surrounded by a magical barrier. The game features NPC routines, faction-based quest paths, and a progression system where the player starts with no skills and must learn them from trainers.
