- Empyrion: Galactic Survival 1.20 今日起进入(预)实验阶段，可在生存游戏中透过 instance 直接进入 Creative mode 编辑蓝图，不需离开服务器或另开新游戏，可单人或多人一起进行。
- 官方开设「Invaders vs. Defenders」情境的实验服务器 Eleon Game Studios - Official EXPERIMENTAL Server，内有两个发送门，分别创建派系专属 instance 与任何人都能进入的公开 instance。
- 进入 Creative instance 时背包必须是空的；离开时，在 instance 内放入的物品会从背包移除。instance 内不需进食、不会受伤，并有无限 jetpack。
- 目前已知限制：本机 Creative mode 的部分功能尚未提供，之后会陆续加入；太空中的 Creative Mode instance 与可穿越方块、自由移动的 Godmode 皆列为即将推出。
- Build 5206 修正 Creative instance 的漏洞：死亡时掉落所有物品、禁用带入结构的发送门，并在离开时还原生命、饮食、氧气与体力数值。
- Build 5204 公开以 playfield.yaml 与 BlocksConfig.ecf 设置 Creative 建造区的技术指南，添加 CreativeMode、Time、InstancePerFaction、EnterWithNoInventoryNoArmor、LeaveWithEmptyInventory 等 instance 旗标，并规定玩家重新进入自己执行中的 instance
